Looking for researchers who are currently running jobs, or have run jobs recently
Are you available Wed June 28 10:45am-12:00noon Central Time to meet via Zoom with people whose job is helping researchers to use research computing?
We call this research computing "intake interviews," where there are several groups of research computing facilitators who meet with researchers.
Each researcher will meet with a group of research computing facilitators for a brief period (10-20 minutes), then move on to another group.
The research computing facilitators will ask you questions about your research computing needs and problems, and then they'll offer helpful advice about that.
We're trying to teach the research computing facilitators how to quickly understand, from researchers like you, what the researchers' computing needs are, and how to help.
It's part of a weeklong workshop on research computing facilitation: teaching people to help researchers like you to use research computing.
Benefit to you:
You'll get help on how to improve your use of research computing.
Because, some of our research computing facilitators are already good at doing this (and others are learning how).
Benefit to us:
Research computing facilitators at the workshop will learn how to help real researchers like you.
Can you be available for this? If so, we'll provide you the Zoom information.
