Getting Started With Jetstream2

Jetstream2, led by the Pervasive Technology Institute at Indiana University, adds cloud-based, on-demand computing and data analysis resources to the national cyberinfrastructure. 

This virtual workshop is for any US-based researcher or educator, regardless of previous cloud computing experience.

Attendees will hear an overview of Jetstream2 including various examples and use cases, learn about the National Science Foundation's Advanced Cyberinfrastructure Coordination Ecosystem: Services & Support (ACCESS) program, and learn helpful tips and tricks.

Hands-on activities will include how to access Jetstream2, as well as launching and managing virtual machines via the Exosphere interface. To participate in the hands-on activities, one will need to create an ACCESS User ID (this does not take long).

This workshop is hosted by the Jetstream2 Support team, part of Research Cloud Services at Indiana University.
