Iowa State HPC Cluster Best Practices Workshop - Oct. 22 & 23
The Research IT group is pleased to announce that we will be offering an Iowa State HPC Cluster Best Practices workshop on Tuesday, October 22nd (in-person) and Wednesday, October 23rd (virtual).
NOTE: The in-person workshop is now full. Space remains available in the virtual workshop. If you would still like to attend an in-person workshop, please reach out to us at hpc-help@iastate.edu and we will work with you on options.
Workshop Details:
In-Person: Tuesday, October 22nd 6:00-7:00 PM CDT, 248 Durham
Virtual: Wednesday, October 23rd 6:00-7:00 PM CDT, Link will be emailed to registrants
Learn about the high performance computing resources at Iowa State, and how to use them effectively. This course will cover setting up job scripts, the data storage available on the cluster, how to transfer data to and from the cluster, and tips for improving program speed and efficiency. If you are new to high performance computing, this course is strongly recommended. Register for this course here.
