Research Opportunities for Faculty and Students from Diverse Backgrounds
The Sustainable Horizons Institute and Berkeley Lab invite faculty and students to apply for the 6th Annual Sustainable Research Pathways (SRP) program 2020-2021. This program offers a one of a kind research experience alongside Berkeley Lab Computing Sciences staff.
Through SRP, faculty working with students from underrepresented and underprivileged backgrounds OR NOW students on their own attend a Matching Workshop with Berkeley Lab to explore potential research collaborations.
Matched attendees apply for funding for faculty/student teams or students on their own for collaborative research projects in the summer of 2021.
Applicants must be a full-time member at an accredited U.S. degree-granting institution of higher education including: minority serving institutions, community, women's, and liberal arts colleges, as well as high research institutions.
Located in the vibrant city of Berkeley is the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, a place where cutting edge technology and brilliant minds come together to explore, innovate, and discover new science horizons.
The chance to work in conjunction with Berkeley Lab staff, world leaders in computing and computational biology, physics, materials, chemistry, and energy sciences research.
